Watch as Captain Sensible falls off the stage in Toronto [Video]

The Damned rolled into Toronto’s Phoenix Theatre on Sunday, April 30 during their 40th Anniversary Tour to play to a full crowd, the band was tight and the audience loved them….then during the band’s encore Captain Sensible fell off the stage and broke a rib.

Here’s what their Facebook page had to say:
“Ladies and Gentlemen….How do.”

As I’m sure you’re all aware now, last night in Toronto, our fearless Captain took a spill off the front of the stage
resulting in a broken rib. In an effort to “ Carry On Captain” we are postponing our Montreal and Boston shows to the
following dates:

Montreal: May 23, 2017
Boston: May 24, 2017

All tickets and VIP packages will be honored for these rescheduled dates.

Most importantly though is that our beloved Captain recover and resume his exuberant duties.
Let’s all keep up the good thoughts and positive wishes.

Contest: Win a pair of tickets to see The Revolution in Toronto

revolution band 1

The Revolution — Wendy Melvoin, Lisa Coleman, Bobby Z, BrownMark and Dr. Fink — is most commonly known as the versatile band behind the music icon, Prince.

Following the tragic, sudden passing of their fearless leader in April 2016, The Revolution reunited to honor the musical genius that Prince instilled in them and upon the world. In September, they returned to where it all started — First Avenue — an intimate venue in Minneapolis that was very important to Prince & The Revolution during the Purple Rain era and the years prior. The core, original members have decided to remain united and continue to honor and pay tribute to Prince in the best way possible; playing the music they helped create with him and with it, heal this new world they now find themselves in without the incomparable, iconic Prince.

“Only by playing for you, the fans, can we be Prince’s Revolution. He gives Us 2 oneanother now, as we all start to heal and fill forever emptiness with sound. 2gether, we are The Revolution.” – The Revolution

Fill out the form below for your chance to win a pair of tickets to see The Revolution live at the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto on Sunday,  May 21, 2017 courtesy of Collective Concerts.

The WINNER will be contacted on Monday May the 15th,

One entry per person.
