That time Adam Ant was NOT welcomed by L.A. Punks back in 1981 [video]

During an interview in the early 1980’s Adam and the Ants had been described as a Punk band, well I guess Adam didn’t like that and went on some tirade attacking Punk Rock and particularly Punks in general. On April 11, 1981 Adam and The Ants showed up in L.A. at the Tower Records on Sunset for an autograph session and show in the parking lot, what they weren’t expecting was a group of punks called The Connected with cartons of eggs and stickers that read “Black Flag Kills Ants on Contact”….watch the video below.
