OK Friday Barn Fair Returns to Burl’s Creek May 20th, feat….The Pick Brothers Band


May 9, 2016, Toronto, ON – Burl’s Creek Event Grounds, is kicking off the May Long Weekend with their annual OK Friday Barn Fair on Friday, May 20 with a special performance by the Pick Brothers. Set to run every Friday from 3PM – 8PM weekly, OK Friday is a diverse art and farmers market, featuring live music, in the heart of Oro-Medonte.  Fully licensed, OK Friday is the perfect place to shop, socialize and relax in a cultural setting against the backdrop of a beautifully restored 1930s barn, conveniently located right off of Highway 11 at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds, Canada’s largest outdoor event venue.

“We are really pleased to open our doors to the community again with OK Friday and be able to present such a unique setting for our art and farmers market,” says Ryan Howes, vice-president of venue operations and business development, Burl’s Creek.  “OK Friday has become such a great gathering place for the community and cottage goers with over 1,000 people attending each week and we are happy to have The Pick Brothers kicking off our musical line up this year on the Peacock stage.”

A key component to OK Friday is the musical programming with weekly performances including a diverse mix of international and local talent.  Over the next two months, market goers will be treated with the following performances on the hand crafted Peacock Stage.

May 20 features Toronto’s The Pick Brothers Band, Artists to perform at 5PM and 7PM.
