The Cure‘s compilation album ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ was released on this day in 1980. Robert Smith, Michael Dempsey and Lol Tolhurst played on all of the tracks. ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ is almost a carbon copy of their debut album ‘Three Imaginary Boys’  except it includes the first three singles “Killing an Arab,” “Boys Don’t Cry,” and “Jumping Someone Else’s Train” which ‘Three Imaginary Boys’ does not.
