It was twenty four years ago today the world lost a vocalist, musician, composer and poet…we lost Freddie Mercury. It was on November 23, 1991 that Mercury of the band Queen officially confirmed that he was ill with AIDS and the next day he died of bronchial pneumonia, with that we lost one of the most captivating singers the musical world has known or will ever know.

You can’t think of Freddie and not think of Queens Live Aid performance at Wembley stadium on the 13th of July, 1985, a performance which pretty much stole the entire show and goes down as one of the greatest in rock history, so below we give you that performance…raise a glass to Mr. Freddie Mercury today!
